Clearvertising LLC ("Clearvertising", "we", "us") is a digital marketing agency based in Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through clearvertising.com, how we handle information in the services we provide to our clients, and how our internal tool for managing clients' YouTube channels works.
Information we collect on our website
- Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or application form, we collect the details you enter, such as your name, email, phone number, business name and message.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Tag Manager and analytics tools, to understand how visitors use the site, and Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam.
How we use it
We use this information to answer your inquiry, prepare proposals, provide the services you hire us for, improve our website and keep it secure. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we handle for our clients
When a business hires us, we may access its advertising accounts, websites, analytics and customer lead data to run its campaigns. We handle that information on the client's behalf, only to provide the agreed services, under our written agreement with that client.
Clearvertising Media Manager and YouTube API Services
Clearvertising Media Manager is an internal tool our team uses to manage the YouTube channels of our clients after each channel owner authorizes it through Google. It is not offered to the public. It uses YouTube API Services. By authorizing it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and information accessed through YouTube API Services is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
What it accesses. Only on the authorized channel:
- Basic channel information, such as the channel ID, title and description.
- The channel's videos, playlists and their metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails and privacy status).
- Captions (subtitles) of the channel's own videos.
- Public comments on the channel's own videos, including the commenter's public display name.
- An OAuth access token and refresh token issued by Google for that channel.
It does not access viewer analytics, private messages, comments on other channels' videos, or any other Google account data.
How it is used. Only to do what the channel owner asked us to do: upload videos; set titles, descriptions, thumbnails, captions and playlists; keep the channel's branding consistent; and post or reply to comments on behalf of the channel on its own videos, and hide, remove or report spam there. We do not sell this information, use it for advertising profiling, contact commenters outside YouTube, or use it for anything unrelated to managing the client's own channel.
Storage and sharing. OAuth tokens are kept on access-restricted servers with encrypted storage and are never shared with third parties. Data obtained from YouTube API Services is not retained for more than 30 days unless it is refreshed through the API, except information the channel owner asks us to keep. We share it only with the channel owner and with Google, as needed to use YouTube API Services.
Revoking access and deleting data. The channel owner can revoke access at any time from their Google security settings, or ask us to delete stored data by writing to be@clearvertising.com. We delete it within 7 days of the request or of access being revoked.
Who we share information with
We use trusted providers to run our business, such as website hosting, email, form processing and Google services. They only process information as needed to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we protect it with access controls and secure storage.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by writing to be@clearvertising.com. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings.
Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
